Diet
Banded keelback predominantly survives on a diet of small amphibians, notably frogs. Its feeding habit is mostly nocturnal, using its acute sensory mechanisms to capture prey.
Behavior
Banded keelback is a solitary, diurnal species that habitually dwells in freshwater habitats. Known for its distinctive swimming behavior, it discreetly navigates its surrounding with agile movement patterns. Engaging in a carnivorous diet, it actively hunts prey with a stealthy and quick lunge. Not notably territorial, this species prefers camouflage for survival rather than direct confrontation.
