Diet
Komodo dragon is primarily a carnivore, relying heavily on large ungulates like deer as its primary food source. It also consumes carrion and will opportunistically feed on smaller vertebrates in its habitat.
Appearance
Komodo dragon is the largest living species of lizard. Equipped with a robust and muscular body, it has thick, scaly skin in grey to brown coloration. Its elongated head, powerful limbs, and long tail enhance its formidable appearance. Adults possess distinct, jagged neck frills, absent in younger samples. There aren't significant differences in visual traits due to age, gender, or subspecies.
