Thoropa taophora is a frog native to Brazil. A frog of coastal areas and seashores, it can be found in wet rocky habitats throughout Brazil’s Atlantic rainforest. It is the first documented frog that shows so-called “single-male polygyny with fidelity” where the males breed with the two same females during its reproductive lifecycle.
