Diet
Mossy frog is primarily insectivorous, feeding on small insects. It also includes arachnids and gastropods in its diet. It hunts its prey in the wild, demonstrating a preference for live, moving food.
Appearance
Mossy frog is a small sized frog with a flat body, rounded snout and smooth, moss-like skin, ideally mimicking the dried leaves and tree barks. Notable features include its surprising shades of brown with occasional specks of green. While males are slightly smaller, both genders showcase a pair of large, round eyes that offer a distinct nocturnal advantage.
