The yellow-throated garter snake (Thamnophis pulchrilatus) is a species of snake of the family Colubridae. It is found in Mexico.

Appearance
Yellow-throated garter snake is a slender snake species with slick, scale-covered skin. Adults typically reach lengths of 40 to 75 cm. They display a vibrant coloration primarily in shades of green, with unique, eye-catching blue stripes that run along their bodies. Males and females are similar in appearance, and there are no marked variations in color or pattern with age or between subspecies. Its sleek tail is a distinguishing feature, stretching to a quarter of its total length.
