Diet
Kuhne's grass lizard primarily sustains itself on a diet of small invertebrates. An insectivore species, it predominantly feeds on soft-bodied insects and spiders for essential proteins, also supplementing its diet with various types of arthropods.
Appearance
Kuhne's grass lizard is a small, slender lizard with smooth, scaly skin. Its dorsum is typically grey-green or olive, while its underparts are paler, often cream or light yellow. This lizard displays striking blue-black stripes running lengthwise along its body, an exquisite contrast. Notably, kuhne's grass lizard has very long, thin tails, which are often more than twice the length of its body. Members of either sex or any age group exhibit the same coloration and size.
Behavior
Kuhne's grass lizard is a diurnal reptile, exhibiting distinctive hunting behavior, often feeding on small insects like crickets. Primarily terrestrial, it relies on speed and dexterity for survival. Males are notably more territorial than females, marking territories on tree branches. Its social behavior is largely solitary, except during breeding season.
