Strongylopus fasciatus, also known as the striped stream frog, striped grass frog, striped rana, striped long-toed frog or long-toed grass frog , is a species of frog in the family Pyxicephalidae. It is endemic to southern Africa.

Striped stream frog prominently subsists on a diet of insects and other small arthropods. Specifically, it displays a strong preference for beetles, spiders, and centipedes, playing an active predator role in its ecosystem.
Appearance
Striped stream frog is a medium-sized frog with a slender body and smooth skin. Its distinctive coloration ranges from dull green to brown, often adorned with broad irregular black stripes. Both sexes have long, thin hind legs equipped for rapid hopping. Age or gender doesn't dictate any significant changes in appearance.
