Stenodactylus doriae, commonly known as the Middle Eastern short-fingered gecko or Doria's comb-fingered gecko, is a species of lizard in the family Gekkonidae.

Diet
Middle eastern short-fingered gecko primarily subsists on a carnivorous diet, consisting extensively of insects, including ants, termites, and small beetles. It is known to actively hunt for its prey during nocturnal hours.
Appearance
Middle eastern short-fingered gecko is a small lizard with a sleek, elongated body and robust, short limbs. It has gritty, granulated skin with a palette of earth tones: pale browns to sandy yellows, excellently adapted for camouflage in its terrestrial habitats. Notable are its large, round eyes adapted for a nocturnal lifestyle and long, tapering tail. Both sexes share a similar appearance, but males tend to have slightly wider heads.
Behavior
Middle eastern short-fingered gecko is a nocturnal creature, active predominately during cooler nights. It is mainly insectivorous, exploiting arid environments for forage. Solitary by nature, middle eastern short-fingered gecko is generally observed to exhibit territorial behaviors, rarely sharing spaces with others, except during mating.
