Description

Salvadora hexalepis virgultea is characterized by its conspicuous nocturnal habits, preferring to ascend trees in pursuit of its primary diet which consists of insects. This species adapts to arid regions by using a peculiar survival mechanism: retaining water internally and releasing it via the skin when necessary for hydration. It also possesses a highly territorial behavior, frequently engaging in head-bobbing display sequences to establish dominance.
