Description

Salvadora hexalepis mojavensis' is a desert-dwelling species with an interesting thermoregulation strategy. To avoid the extreme desert temperatures, it employs diurnal shifts, moving under covers at peak heat and becoming active during cooler hours. It's also an important biological control agent against desert pests. Its diet mainly consists of insects, contributing to maintaining their populations in check.
