 The Bolivian Squirrel Monkey (Saimiri boliviensis) is a primate species from the group of New World Monkeys.

 Black-capped squirrel monkey are omnivorous animals consuming a varied diet, primarily comprised of fruits. They also feed on leaves, flowers, insects, and small vertebrates, demonstrating adaptability in dietary habits. 
   Appearance
 The black-capped squirrel monkey is a small, agile primate with a slender body and a long, non-prehensile tail. Its dense fur is primarily grey or olive, with white underparts. The face is black, contrasted with a white mouth and white around the eyes. Males and females are similar in appearance, with no marked differences due to age or subspecies. Its tail, used for balance, can reach almost twice the length of its body. 
   Behavior
 Black-capped squirrel monkey is a sociable primate, living in multigenerational troops typically consisting of 20-75 individuals. It engages in cooperative behaviors such as mutual grooming, which serves to strengthen social bonds. The species is arboreal, spending most time in tree canopies foraging for fruits, insects, and small vertebrates. Territorial defense is uncommon with black-capped squirrel monkey; instead, overlapping home ranges are observed. It's active during the day, engaging in rest, feeding, and social interaction.
