The species is predominantly dark brown or black, often adorned with lighter tan or green hues. Its belly is typically lighter, with color patterns ranging from cream to yellow. Male and female kenya leaf chameleon chameleons have similar appearances, although males are usually larger and have a more pronounced casque. 
   Behavior
 Kenya leaf chameleon are primarily solitary and nocturnal beings. They display an alternation of activity and rest periods during the night.
