Description
 Riama striata, the striped lightbulb lizard, is a species of lizard in the family Gymnophthalmidae. It is endemic to Colombia.

 Striped lightbulb lizard is an insectivorous species, largely subsisting on a diet of small arthropods. This species prefers specific prey such as beetles and spiders, which form a significant part of its nutritional intake. 
   Appearance
 Striped lightbulb lizard is a slender, medium-sized lizard, mostly covered in smooth scales. It exhibits a prominent, highly defining characteristic of dark brown stripes running parallel along its long body, over a lighter, almost cream-colored background. The head is slim, elongated and comes with small, detailed scales. Notably, there is no significant variation in the appearance between different ages, genders, or subspecies. 
   Behavior
 Striped lightbulb lizard is a nocturnal reptile known for its crepuscular activity, meaning peak activity is around dusk and dawn. It is elusive, often found hidden under rocks or leaf litter.
