Rhaebo haematiticus (formerly Bufo haematiticus) is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae. It is found in eastern Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, northwestern Venezuela (SerranÃa del Perijá), and northwestern Ecuador. Its altitudinal range is from sea level to 1,300 m (4,300 ft) asl. Its natural habitats are primary tropical moist forest and submontane humid forest. Appearance

Its domed back bursts into high contrast when its unique, yellow to cream dorsal stripe stretches from the nose to the vent, meeting at the hind legs. This stripe vanishes outside its breeding period.
