The Malabar gliding frog or Malabar flying frog (Rhacophorus malabaricus) is a Rhacophorid tree frog species found in the Western Ghats of India.

Malabar gliding frog predominantly feeds on a diet of insects. It particularly favours ants and termites, utilizing its long, sticky tongue to capture its prey, typically during the cover of night.
Appearance
Malabar gliding frog is a medium-sized tree frog with slender bodies and long limbs. Its skin displays vibrant shades of green with occasional black or white streaks, providing excellent camouflage. Males have a yellowish throat which aids in vocal production during the breeding season. Its most notable features include large, webbed feet and protruding eyes, which are adaptations for a life in trees.
Behavior
Malabar gliding frog is an arboreal, nocturnal species known for its spectacular gliding behavior. Male individuals perform vocalizations to establish territory and mate attraction. Arboreal clutch laying in water-filled tree holes is typical for reproduction. Predominantly insectivorous, they capitalize on their cryptic coloration for survival.
