Description
Rhacophorus bipunctatus is a frog species in the moss frog family (Rhacophoridae) found from eastern India into Southeast Asia, possibly to southeastern China and south to Malaysia. Due to the identification problems surrounding this species, the eastern and southern limits of its range remain undetermined; all that is known is that the species certainly occurs in the border region of India, Bangladesh, China and Myanmar; its range might extend south to Malaysia, as similar frogs ha

Appearance
The twin-spotted flying frog is a medium-sized frog with a smooth, slender body and relatively long legs. Its vibrant green skin is adorned with white dorsolateral stripes for impressive camouflage. At night its color deepens, showcasing two white spots beneath the eyes. The digital disks of the fore and hind limbs support its arboreal lifestyle, aiding in locomotion across leafy canopies. There is a notable absence of distinguishing gender features.
Behavior
Twin-spotted flying frog displays arboreal habits, primarily residing in rainforest canopies. Primarily nocturnal, it forages for insects at night. During mating season, males demonstrate unusual courting behavior, inflating their vocal sacs to attract females. Eggs are laid in foam nests constructed on leaves overhanging water, allowing hatched tadpoles to drop into the water body below, showcasing an exceptional adaptation to their environment.
