Diet
Bohor reedbuck primarily subsists on a herbivorous diet, specializing in the ingestion of tender, fresh grasses and forbs. However, during drier seasons, they readily adapt their diet to include leaves, shrubs, and herbs.
Appearance
Bohor reedbuck is a small antelope with a light brown to grayish coat. A distinguishing feature is the white undersides, contrasting with the darker body color. Males possess straight, sharp horns, which females lack. Its body shape is slim and athletic, aiding in its swift mobility. Young ones have a softer, fluffier coat but resemble mature individuals in their overall coloration.
Behavior
Bohor reedbuck is primarily diurnal, specializing in grazing and browsing foliage in its woodland habitat. Its survival instinct includes acute senses alert to predators, swiftly leaping sideways for evasion. This species is gregarious, usually forming small herds maintained harmoniously. Notably, territorial disputes are rare, with individuals dispersing over large areas instead of staking exclusive claims.
