Description
Earth wolves tend to live in dry regions in eastern and southern Africa. They live shyly and withdrawn and are nocturnal, during the day they withdraw into their building. Their food consists mainly of termites of the genus Trinervitermes. They live in territories in pairs, but the couples hardly interact with each other outside of the mating season. The two to four hatchlings are often not produced by the male who lives with the female. The aardwolf is not an endangered species.
