Physalaemus ephippifer is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is found in central and eastern Brazilian Amazonia, the Guianas (Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana), and southern Venezuela (BolÃvar state). It might not occur in French Guiana.
