Description
Phyllomedusa bicolor, also known as blue-and-yellow frog, bicoloured tree-frog, giant monkey frog, giant leaf frog, or waxy-monkey treefrog, is a hylid frog. It is found in the Amazon basin as well as some surrounding areas.

Appearance
The blue-and-yellow frog is a large tree frog with a robust body and smooth, moist skin. It exhibits a striking bicolor pattern with a vibrant lime-green back and deep blue-purple belly. The species is characterized by its long, powerful legs and large, round eyes. Also noteworthy are its conspicuous adhesive pads on the fingers and toes. There are no significant variations in appearance due to age, gender, or subspecies.
Behavior
