Additionally, it features a straight, conspicuous stripe of gold colour behind each eye, its most distinguishing feature. Both genders display similar colours and patterns with no significant variation. This species lacks any prominent structures such as horns or wings.
Behavior
Java Bubble-Nest Frog is known to be largely arboreal, being well-adapted to living among trees in its tropical habitat. This species exhibits a solitary lifestyle, each individual generally avoiding contact with others.
