Diet
Northern greater galago's primary food is fruits; it is predominantly frugivorous. However, it also consumes leaves, flowers, and insects. Its diet reflects seasonal variations, with a preference for ripe fruits and arthropods.
Appearance
Northern greater galago is a small arboreal primate with a dense and woolly pelt. It is primarily grey or brown with lighter underparts and a bushy tail. Its face has large, round ears and prominently large eyes, adapted for a nocturnal lifestyle. While both sexes are similar, males are slightly larger. Its body is well-suited for leaping through the trees, with strong hindlimbs and a loose-skinned belly.
Behavior
Northern greater galago is principally arboreal and nocturnal, showing amazing agility in treetop navigation. It forages mostly for fruits, insects, and gum from plant sap. Typically social, this species lives in small groups and communicates via complex calls. Competition for food and mates leads to territorial markings using scent glands.
