Description
The Manaus slender-legged tree frog (Osteocephalus taurinus) is a species of frog in the family Hylidae found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, moist savanna, rivers, intermittent freshwater marshes, and canals and ditches. It is threatened by habitat loss. It is also reported to produce Methamphetamine.

Manaus slender-legged tree frog, known as the Amazon Milk Frog, is an insectivorous species. Its diet principally comprises larger invertebrates like spiders, beetles, and caterpillars, exploiting the rich biodiversity of its tropical habitat.
Appearance
Manaus slender-legged tree frog is a large tree frog with an elongated body shape, exhibiting smooth and slick skin. Predominantly, it is green to brown with noticeably light-yellow sides. It lacks any remarkable tail, horns, or wings, but exhibits large eyes with vertical pupils. Notably, the underside is visibly granular and white. There's no significant difference in appearance between the sexes or age groups.
Behavior
Manaus slender-legged tree frog predominantly display nocturnal behavior, active in night-time for foraging. Exhibiting arboreal tendencies, these animals rely on camouflage within treetop foliage of their rainforest habitat for survival. They are also characterized by their unique, high-pitched mating call, and though usually solitary, males display territorial aggression during mating season.
