Peter's tree frog's diet is primarily insectivorous, feeding on various forms of small arthropods. It gravitates towards ants, beetles, and spiders, using its long, protruding tongue to capture prey.
Appearance
Peter's tree frog is a small frog, generally not exceeding 3 centimeters in length. Its skin is bumpy and warty, with a rich brown to reddish-brown primary coloration. Peter's tree frog is distinctively marked with three rows of yellowish patches running from its eyes to its hind legs. Its large round eyes, prominent in the dark, contribute to its nighttime activity. There are no significant gender or age-related appearance differences.

Peter's tree frog is largely arboreal, residing high among foliage, where it uses its distinctive green coloration as camouflage. This nocturnal species is particularly territorial, often engaging in aggressive posturing or vocalizations to deter rivals. It feeds mainly on insects, foraging during twilight hours.
