Originating in Kyrgyzstan, novokirghiz holds a unique position in the equine world. They are the result of diligent crossbreeding between the native Kirghiz with Russian and English breeds during the Soviet era. Characteristically, novokirghiz embodies resilience and endurance unrivaled by other breeds, attributed to their selective breeding in harsh environments. They serve primarily in agricultural endeavors, with their robust muscular structure ideally suited for hardy mountain terrains, reflecting the breed's adaptability and perseverance.
