   Appearance
White-nosed coati is a medium-sized mammal with a long slender body, curved claws, and a bushy ringed tail. It has short, dense fur that's predominantly brownish-grey with lighter underparts. Its distinguishing feature is an elongated snout similar to a raccoon's. There's no notable difference in appearance across ages, genders, or subspecies.
   Behavior
White-nosed coati exhibits diurnal behavior, actively foraging mainly in the morning and late afternoon. Marked by social vivacity, this species forms co-ed bands of related individuals, engaging in collective grooming and feeding.
