Appearance

Signature markings including blazes and socks add further uniqueness. Standing merely 8.5 to 9.5 hands tall, the small stature and compact build is immediately noticeable. The mane and tail, often lustrous and full, subtly vary in colour, matching or contrasting with their coat. Prominent breed-features include a well-arched neck and proportionate body that refute its diminutive size. Their expressive eyes, often brown or blue, mature with age, showcasing resilience and wisdom.

Behavior

Miniature Horse exhibit engaging personalities with a natural curiosity and boldness. Despite their diminutive size, they are highly sociable, showing good companionability with both humans and other equids. Miniature Horse respond well to positive reinforcement training, demonstrating a keen intelligence and adaptability. Like larger horse breeds, these animals react sharply to unfamiliar stimuli, but their small stature often requires specific attention to health markers such as obesity or dental issues.
