The palmated chorus frog (Microhyla palmipes) is a species of frog in the Microhylidae family. It is found in Indonesia and Malaysia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, rivers, and freshwater marshes. It is not considered threatened by the IUCN.

Appearance

Behavior
Palmated chorus frog engages in nocturnal activity, often hiding during the daytime in damp and cool spots among leaf litter. They exhibit vocalization behavior, typically during breeding periods with a distinct 'tick-tick’ sound. This territorial species constructs and defends submerged burrows as habitats. Their life cycle includes a tadpole prophase for survival in unique acidic environments of peat swamps.
