 The Malayan snail-eating turtle (Malayemys macrocephala) is a species of turtle in Malayemys genus of the Geoemydidae family.

   Appearance
 Malayan snail-eating turtle is a mid-sized turtle with a robust oval-shaped shell. Its thick, scaly skin ranges from gray to olive brown, typically mottled or spotted with black. Adults sport a disproportionately large head with distinct white-to-yellow jawlines. The males can be differentiated by their longer, thicker tails. Its unique feature includes two sharp-ended conical points on the shell edges near the tail, giving a serrated appearance.
