Description
Indian hat monkeys are among the smaller macaques with a weight of 2.5 to 8 kilograms. Her short coat is gray brown at the top and whitish at the bottom. On the top of the head, they have two brown or black hair heads, which are directed outwards and parted in the middle. The naked face is colored brown; the tail is as long or longer than the body.

Bonnet macaque demonstrates distinctive facial expressions, notably teeth chattering as a sign of submission. Aggressive encounters are often characterized by branch shaking and vocalizations.
