Canada lynx is a carnivorous species, primarily reliant on Snowshoe Hares for sustenance. When hare populations decline, canada lynx adapts by consuming small mammals, birds, and occasionally carrion. Seasonal variation influences its dietary breadth.
Appearance
Canada lynx is a medium-sized cat with a compact body covered in dense, thick fur. Predominantly grey to creamy white in color, its coat is peppered with black spots and streaks.
