Diet
Forrer's grass frog is quintessentially carnivorous, feeding primarily on aquatic insects and small fish. Its predatory techniques involve situating itself on the waterbed, stealthily awaiting prey to pass within reach.
Appearance
Forrer's grass frog is a moderate-sized frog with a robust body, smooth skin, and long limbs. It exhibits deep olive to brown coloration with random dark spots and yellowish belly. Of note are its pointed snout and dorsal ridges. No significant differences exist in appearance due to age, gender, or subspecies.
Behavior
Forrer's grass frog primarily exhibits nocturnal habits, actively foraging for food under the cover of darkness. Equipped with adaptative movement in water and land, it demonstrates an impressive amphibious lifestyle.
