Diet
The diet of yellow-striped slender tree skink primarily consists of small arthropods. Preferring a carnivorous lifestyle, it particularly seeks out soft-bodied invertebrates like spiders and mites for sustenance.
Appearance
Yellow-striped slender tree skink is a small, slender skink with a semi-transparent, smooth and shiny skin. It exhibits a charming iridescent olive-green coloration, accentuated by a spectacular series of golden-yellow stripes running longitudinally from the head to the tapering tail. Males and females share similar visual attributes, with no significant differences based on age or subspecies.
Behavior
Yellow-striped slender tree skink is a predominantly nocturnal species, known for its active foraging at night, where it exhibits exceptional tree-climbing and leaf-foraging skills.
