Limnonectes microdiscus is a species of frog in the Dicroglossidae family. It is endemic to Indonesia.

Indonesian wart frog is an omnivorous species primarily feeding on small invertebrates. In particular, its diet consists of insects, arachnids, mollusks, and various larvae, supplementing with plant materials occasionally.
Appearance
Indonesian wart frog is a small-sized frog with a robust body and a rounded snout. It has a brownish skin tone with distinct orange markings around the groin area. This species possesses large toes to help them adhere to wet surfaces. Their skin is fairly smooth with some occasional granulation. There isn't any significant difference in appearance due to age or gender.
Behavior
Indonesian wart frog primarily exhibits nocturnal behavior with a preference for a semi-aquatic lifestyle. This species is known for its unique male parental care tactics. Following egg fertilization, male indonesian wart frog guard the breeding site and agitate the egg clump to facilitate larval development. Solitary in nature, except during the breeding season, the species displays territorial and bold combativeness against intruders.
