Description
The Gaboon forest tree frog, Leptopelis aubryi, is a species of frog in the family Arthroleptidae. It is found in southeastern Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, western and northern Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Cabinda Enclave of Angola.

Appearance

Behavior

This species exhibits relatively solitary behavior, with limited social interactions primarily restricted to mating periods. For survival in rainforest habitats, gaboon forest tree frog has developed an efficient use of vertical space, perching on higher vegetation layers to avoid ground predators.
