 Nguru two-horned chameleon's diet chiefly comprises insects. It exhibits an opportunistic feeding behavior, feasting on diverse invertebrates such as arachnids, isopods, and especially dipterans, underlining its insectivorous nature. 
   Appearance
 Nguru two-horned chameleon is a medium-sized chameleon, distinguished by a flat, triangular head and horn-like protrusions in males. It displays variable coloration, ranging from greens to browns, which it can rapidly change. The skin is covered in granular scales. Females and juveniles are generally smaller and lack the prominent rostral horns of adult males. The tail is prehensile and adds to nguru two-horned chameleon's unique appearance. 
   Behavior
 Nguru two-horned chameleon leads a largely solitary life except during breeding. Its key behaviors include efficient arboreal locomotion and distinctive courtship display. These chameleons are territorial, primarily engaging visually to assert dominance.
