Kassina senegalensis, the Senegal Running Frog, is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is found in Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, possibly Benin, possibly Burundi, possibly Rep

Senegal running frog primarily sustains on a diet of small invertebrates. Key items include various species of insects, and particularly favors locusts and crickets. It exhibits a nocturnal foraging pattern.
Appearance
Senegal running frog is a medium-sized frog with a slim, streamlined body shape. It has smooth, vibrant skin which is typically bright green, accented with bold black stripes. Males are smaller than females and often have rougher skin during the mating season. This series of features, together with its large, pronounced rear legs, enhance its agility and efficiency when climbing and jumping.
Behavior
Senegal running frog is a nocturnal species, active predominantly at dusk and night. Characteristically, it possesses a slow, deliberate movement pattern, making use of its long legs to traverse terrain. Unlike many amphibian species, senegal running frog does not dwell in water excessively, prefering land migration. Socially, this animal is observed to be solitary outside breeding season. To lay eggs, the female creates a foam nest within vegetation for protection.
