Description
Ingerophrynus parvus is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae. It is found in southern Myanmar, southwestern Thailand, southwestern Cambodia, Peninsular Malaysia, and Java and Sumatra (Indonesia). Its natural habitats are primary and regenerating rainforests where it is found inhabiting streams. Breeding takes place in pools and slow-moving streams. It is common in the mainland but uncommon in Indonesia.

Appearance
Kodok puru kerdil is a small creature with a tough, bumpy skin texture typical of toads. Adult males reach up to 23mm, being smaller than females. They possess a brown or grayish-brown back with irregular darker markings, lighter belly, and black blotches on the throat. Prominent features include a pointed snout, ridges running from their eyes to the snout, and toe pads for climbing.
Behavior
Kodok puru kerdil is a nocturnal species that exhibits solitary behavior, coming together only for mating purposes. Notably, the males vocalize distinct calls to attract females and to establish territories. In its forest habitat, it utilizes its excellent climbing skills to evade predators.
