Diet
Wolverine is predominantly carnivorous, specializing in hunting small to medium-sized mammals. Its diet mainly includes beavers, squirrels, and rabbits, but can also adapt to feed on carrion and plants when its preferred prey is scarce.
Appearance
Wolverine is a medium-sized mammal with a stocky body and short, sturdy legs. It has dense, dark brown to black fur, often with a lighter band running across the upper body. Its head is broad with small rounded ears and powerful jaws. It also features a bushy tail. Both genders share similar appearances. Seasonal changes in fur density occur, with a thicker coat in winter. Notable features include its muscular neck and extended curved claws.
Behavior
Wolverine, also known as wolverines, are solitary and territorial predators, using scent-marking to define their large home ranges. Known for their agility and strength exceeding their size, they scavenge for food, often feeding on prey much larger than themselves. Adapted for survival, wolverine exhibits a keen sense of smell to locate potential meals and traces of its enemies.
