The Indian gazelle (Gazella bennettii), also called Chinkara, is an Asian mammal from the gazelle (Gazella) genus.

Adult individuals boast impressive, ringed horns that curve backward and upward, primarily seen in males. Their eyes are large and dark, a helpful feature for spotting predators in their natural habitat.
Behavior
Chinkara is a primarily nocturnal species, exhibiting crepuscular activities such as foraging for shrubs and herbs. This species forms small, fluid groups characterised by non-aggressive social dynamics. Known for their agile, swift movements, they escape predators and survive in their natural habitats using flight as a primary defense mechanism.
