Description
The Malay glider or Temminck glider (Cynocephalus variegatus, syn.: Galeopterus variegatus) is a mammal from the order of the giant glider (Dermoptera). They live in Southeast Asia and feed on plants. A special feature is their flight skin (patagium), with which they can glide far.

Sunda flying lemur primarily subsists on a diet of young, tender leaves, especially of the order Fagales. This species enhances its food intake with fruits, flowers, and plant shoots, demonstrating selective foraging habits based on nutritional content and availability.
Appearance
Sunda flying lemur is a small mammal with a slender, elongated body covered in soft fur, predominantly brownish or greyish in color with slight variegated patterning. This animal is renowned for its large, skin-covered patagium stretching between its limbs, which enables gliding. Equipped with a long, bushy tail and large, forward-facing eyes, sunda flying lemur lacks significant visual differences among ages, genders, or subspecies.
Behavior
Sunda flying lemur is nocturnal, primarily feeding on soft, young leaves. Agile climbers, these mammals glide between trees using skin flaps to achieve distances up to 150m. Typically solitary, members of this species only come together for mating. They exhibit minimal territorial behavior but will use scent marking as a method of communication.
