The Senegal Galago (Galago senegalensis), also called Northern or Steppe Galago, is a primate species from the Galagos (Galagonidae) family.

Senegal bushbaby predominantly consumes a diet rich in fruits and insects. This omnivorous animal shows marked preference for small invertebrates, tree gums and tender flora, balancing its nutritional intake.
Appearance
Senegal bushbaby is a small primate, roughly the size of a squirrel, with soft, thick, wooly fur that varies from silver-gray to dark brown. It has large, round eyes for nocturnal vision and powerful hind legs for leaping. Notably, senegal bushbaby possesses large, bat-like ears that are capable of independent movement, enhancing its hearing. Its tail, often longer than the body, aids in balance and is bushy at the tip.
Behavior
Senegal bushbaby are nocturnal animals, prolific climbers favoring vertical branches and trunks. They display social behavior and communicate using varying vocalizations with significant ultrasonic frequency. Predominantly insectivorous, senegal bushbaby employ a focused foraging behavior, using their oversized ears to pinpoint insects’ nocturnal movements. Males exhibit territorial behavior and fiercely defend their home-range.
