Appearance
Spotted-tail salamander is a small salamander with a slender, elongated body covered in smooth, moist skin. Most adults measure around 4-6 inches in length. Its basic coloration consists of a dark, almost black, body covered with countless small white spots, giving it an impression of a starry sky.
