Description
The white-eared opossum is about one to three pounds in weight and has black and grey fur, with white hair covering their ears and face, and dark hair on their long tails. They are omnivorous, feeding on invertebrates, small vertebrates, and fruits.

Appearance
White-eared opossum is a medium-sized, robust mammal with short, dense fur primarily colored in ashy grey and white. Its body and stout tail complement a pointed snout and sharp teeth. Notably, it sports black patches surrounding the eyes and ears, reminiscent of a mask. However, its underbelly and tail are stark white. No significant differences in appearance are evident across age, sex, or subspecies.
Behavior
