Morelet's crocodile is a large, robust reptile with thick, bumpy skin. Its broad body is primarily dark greenish-gray, with yellowish underbelly. This species showcases distinctive characteristics such as an elongated, V-shaped snout and a long, powerful tail. Juveniles display a brighter coloration than adults, featuring dark cross-banding on body and tail.
