Cnemaspis peninsularis is a species of gecko from southern Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore.

Peninsular rock gecko primarily sustains on small invertebrates, with a tendency to favor arthropods and soft-bodied insects. It scans vertical surfaces to seek out its prey, meticulously consuming even the smallest of insects.
Appearance
Peninsular rock gecko is a small, gecko species with a cylindrical body and rough, granular skin. It exhibits a subdued coloration, primarily in shades of brown and grey, providing excellent camouflage against rocky habitats. Newborns and juveniles are similarly colored but have more vibrant patterns. The species lacks any significant horn, wing, or tail features. The noticeable distinguishing features are its large, round eyes and its toes, which fan out into adhesive pads useful for climbing.
Behavior
Peninsular rock gecko are territorial and diurnal, skilled climbers, adeptly adapting to rocky habitats with precise footwork.
