 Green sea turtle is a large, marine turtle with a smooth, streamlined body and hard shell. Its skin is predominantly gray or green in color, while the shell is typically black to dark brown. Notable features include two pairs of prefrontal scales and a relatively small head. There are no significant differences in appearance due to age, gender, and subspecies. 
   Behavior
 Green sea turtle is a primarily solitary species with a herbivorous diet focused on seagrass and algae. Noted for its extensive migratory patterns, the species covers long distances between feeding grounds and nesting sites. The most distinctive behavior is the construction of nests every two to four years for egg laying. This species does not display territorial behavior.
