Description
The brown bristle armadillo or brown haired armadillo (Chaetophractus villosus) is the largest representative of the bristle armadillo and lives mainly in the southern part of South America, east of the Andes. It prefers dry and open landscapes and eats omnivore, with the amount of plant and animal food depending on the seasons. In addition, the armadillo species also prey on small vertebrates. The underground structures created by the brown bristle armadillo are sometimes quite complex. The existence of the armadillo species is not considered to be endangered.
