  Carlia pectoralis, the open-litter rainbow-skink, is a species of skink in the genus Carlia. It is endemic to Queensland in Australia.

   Appearance
 Open-litter rainbow-skink is a small lizard with a slender body and smooth, glossy skin. It exhibits a bright coloration, mostly turquoise blue, that contrasts sharply with dark longitudinal stripes on its back and tail. Notably, mature males have darker throats compared to females and juveniles. No significant differences exist among subspecies.
