  Carlia fusca, the brown four-fingered skink or Indonesian brown skink, is a species of skink in the genus Carlia. It is endemic to Halmahera in Indonesia and Bismarck Archipelago in Papua New Guinea

 Indonesian brown skink carlia predominantly feeds on small invertebrates, particularly arachnids and insects. Its diet incorporates beetles, ants, and spiders, selectively hunting and consuming prey based on availability within its habitat. 
   Appearance
 Indonesian brown skink carlia is a small-sized skink with a slender, elongated body covered in smooth, shiny scales. Its primary coloration is a deep brown, seamlessly transitioning into a paler underbelly. Males display a unique black stroke from the eye to the base of the jaw. There is no prominent age or gender-based distinction in size. The tail is long, almost matching the length of the body itself. 
   Behavior
